Our client is a rapidly growing healthcare communications agency that specializes in services for biotech, pharma, and medical device companies. They’re a startup with a wide range of departments in multiple exciting therapeutic areas including infectious disease, vaccines, immunology, oncology, rare disease, metabolism, and neurology. They stand out among other advertising agencies through their unique science-first approach to their services; people in the company consider themselves both writers and scientists.

Responsibilities:
  • Support a growing team of medical writers and associate medical directors; act as an approachable and knowledgeable team member with a success driven mindset.
  • Manage a diverse range of clients, leveraging a strong technical background and stylistic excellence.
  • Experience in developing advertising campaigns targeting healthcare professionals is essential. This involves understanding the unique needs and preferences of HCPs and tailoring advertising materials to effectively communicate the benefits of a product or service.
  • Maintain client communication from a scientific perspective; participate & have involvement in brand strategy conversations 
  • May also provide scientific advisory support to clients, helping them make informed decisions about their products and strategies.
  • Have the ability to think strategically and provide input on the overall medical communication and advertising strategy for a product or brand.
Requirements:
  •  3-5 years experience at a healthcare advertising agency is required
  • A PharmD is required
  • Experience within HCP promotional advertising is required
  • Rare disease experience ideal
  • Client-facing experience from a scientific perspective is a must
