Medical Director - Medical Communications - Remote

This agency is independently owned and specializes in all things Healthcare Advertising and Medical Communications. As a Medical Director, you will heavily own Med Ed and Med Affairs content within the Medical Communications team and your expertise will be critical in driving the agency's success by maintaining high scientific standards and fostering client relationships.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute the agency's scientific services strategy in alignment with overall business goals.
• Collaborate with the executive team to integrate scientific insights into creative campaigns that resonate with both healthcare professionals and patients.
• Collaborate with business development teams to contribute scientific expertise to pitches and proposals.
• Establish and grow client relationships by working with both clients as well as internal teams to make sure that visions are aligned and executed successfully.
• Provide leadership and guidance to any junior staff who could benefit from mentorship to grow their capabilities throughout their career.

Requirements:

• 4-5 years of experience in a medical communications agency space, specifically in Med Ed and Med Affairs.
• Candidates must have a PhD or PharmD.
• Requires a strong desire to develop content, lead a collaborative team, and immerse themselves in a variety of new assignments.
• Experience in Rare Disease preferred but not required
