Position Summary:

Looking for a fresh new experience at one of the world’s leading Biotech companies? An exciting company based out of Emeryville is looking to expand their Quality team!

 

Title: Supplier Qualification Contractor

 

Responsibilities

  • Manage, track, and coordinate supplier qualification activities, ensuring they are completed on time.
  • Work extensively with cross-functional teams and external suppliers to manage and monitor material and service suppliers, including supplier risk evaluation, issue resolution, qualification rating assignment, etc.
  • Review and ensure supplier files and databases are current and accurate.
  • Establish/negotiate quality agreements.
  • Support metadata cleanup in the Supplier/ Audit module in Dot Compliance
  • Create work instructions for the supplier/ audit module in Dot Compliance
  • Support management of supplier change notifications
  • Participate in departmental and cross-functional process improvement initiatives and special projects identified by management to support the business needs

 

Skills required:

  • Quality professional with a minimum of 4-5 years of experience with Supplier Qualification in the Biotech/Pharma industries.
  • Pharma/Biotech and GMP experience
  • BS in Science related field
  • Experience with SharePoint/ Dot Compliance

 

Location: Emeryville, CA (2 days onsite)

 

Length: 6 month possible extension

 

Hours: 40 hours/wk
